Story
Hi there,
For many years I've been having problems with my ears. Back in 2003 I had two operations to clear a growing desease which was eating away at my eardrum and the surrounding tissue.
I'm 34 and my hearing is really bad, I have to pop my ears over 100 times a day to be able to have good hearing. Sound doesn't travel throgh the bone behind my ear and this now causing me big problems which are in desperate need of being fixed before more damage is done.
I'm on the NHS waiting list for a Myringoplasy operation but the wait is incredibly long and I'm getting desperate.
I'm a singer but these issues are plaguing me when I'm singing as I'm not able to hear certain sounds which is becoming increasingly frustrated. I'm due to start recording material and I'm worried I'm going to have to delay this until I'm seen by the NHS. Or even worse, just give it up completely.
Thank you for taking the time to read this
Chris.
