I’m raising funds for a mother I work with through the charity Families in Care. This mother is about to become homeless in few days. She has recently fled domestic violence and for some time lived in hostel. Everyone involved have worked really hard to secure funding for this mother, but we have reached the point where all possibilities have been exhausted – sadly, due to her immigration status, this lady is not eligible for any funding. She is actively looking for work and is trying to stand on her feet to become independent and to look after her children, who due to the situation have to live somewhere else at the moment, but without help this will not happen. After years and years of abuse she is isolated and has absolutely nobody to turn to. Please donate anything you can and ask others to do the same, so we can secure her accomodation at least for some time – this will give her a chance to complete training, find work and start her life again.
