Early in 2021 we had to move my Dad into a dementia care home due to his worsening dementia condition. He is very fit and healthy except for his memory. He loves to walk (for anyone who knows him will know well) .. he walks for miles and miles and it has got him into many a tricky situation!

He has always lived and breathed football and it has been his obsession all his life. He was lucky in his career, playing professional football for big clubs; including Aston Villa and Southampton, playing in the world cup and going on to manage Southampton and Walsall football clubs.

Dads care home is wonderful and they take care of every need, it is so reassuring for the family knowing he is looked after so well.

Our 10k fundraising goal will help pay for dads care home fees for 3 months.
