Chatten Free school is an amazing SEN school In Witham Essex. They took my daughter Bethany on after she was let down by her previous provision. Bethany has extremely complex needs and they have provided her with an environment that she is both happy in and thriving. Chatten free provides highly specialized support to 75 children who have a diagnosis of autism and other related comorbid conditions, that in many cases would have nowhere else to go after previous SEN provision breaking down.

To raise money for chatten I will be taking on my greatest challenge yet, a 24 hr ultra marathon called the "Joust 24" on September 6th

I have previously completed a 50 k (31 mile) ultra marathon and a 6 hour hill climbing race called the "bat challenge" In which I climbed the hill 8 times in the 6 hours and completed a marathon distance.

A 24 hr race is a whole another level and while I can make no promises about the distance I will go or even if I will still be going by the 24 hrs mark, my goal is to beat my previous best distance (31 miles in 7-ish hours) and hopefully make some money for the school that has helped my daughter and family so much.
