Story

Chris Hensley is in for the fight of his life.
Since his brain cancer diagnosis in October 2017, Chris has endured a four hour brain surgery (while conscious), six weeks of daily radiotherapy and chemotherapy. He is determined to beat this incurable disease. He has undergone every available treatment at great personal, financial and emotional cost to the family. But even with ongoing chemotherapy, the prognosis is grim. His aggressive brain cancer will most likely grow back within 12 months.

Ground breaking immunotherapy treatment is offering hope to people with aggressive brain cancer. Chris has been accepted at a treatment clinic in Germany.

This treatment is not available to Chris in UK and, as you can imagine, it's expensive. Like so many things, it’s not covered by the private health insurance the Hensleys have paid for so diligently every month (just in case something terrible happened) for years.
This man, this woman, these kids, they’ve got determination, but they need support.

Chris and Natalie Hensley are always helping out at school and in the many sports their kids play - cricket, netball, footy, ballet and physical culture. Now it’s our turn to help them.

The Hensleys have begun packing up their family to move to Germany for treatment.
In 30 days they’ll be gone for 5 months.

Their friends and family would like to ask you to skip your morning latte, or flat white or chai and donate £5.
It will only take 15,000 people, just like you, just like Chris, just like Natalie, to donate £5 each to reach the first goal of £70,000. £70,000 is how much the treatment costs.
If 30,000 people just like you, just like your mum, or your dad, or your brother or your sister donate £5 each the Hensley will be able to pay for flights, housing and food and concentrate on the job of what will be an already very difficult treatment.

Please help however you can. Donate, like and share this page to help Chris and his family travel for this life-saving treatment.
