I've raised £1000 to the Christie, Manchester & Furness General Hospital Oncology Unit

On the 2nd September Matt and I will be cycling the Coast to Coast route from Whitby to our home town of Barrow-in-Furness, a total of 154 miles/248 km with over 3,000 metres climbing.
Most cyclists take 3-5 days to complete the C2C route, but Matt and I will be riding it in a day from Dawn until Dusk.
Matt and I both have our own very personal reasons for wanting to raise money for cancer charities/causes. When I first met Matt (when we were 11/12) he had overcome his own battle with cancer with amazing support from the Christie in Manchester. Recently cancer has taken my uncle, and my dad is currently going through treatment to overcome cancer with the help with the Oncology department at Furness General Hospital. We'll split any money raised 50/50 between both causes.
Please dig deep, these are great causes and its going to be a long, arduous day in the saddle for both of us, but its worth it to help two great causes.
Thanks
Chris Lawson and Matt Kendall
