Story

During our fathers journey with the illness Dementia, we discovered a small charity called Crossroads Care, who provided respite care by providing a carer who took Dad out for a few hours a week enabling him to enrich a period of his life when Mum was unable to assist Dad getting out of the flat they shared. It also allowed Mum space when she could spend time on herself and not worry about providing care for Dad. Sue & I were very grateful to the carer Eduardo, and our mother asks if people would make a contribution to this great charity rather than send flowers as a act of generosity & in memory of a loving husband, great father and wonderful person. Sue & I would be very appreciative.
