Story

Chris Stone is a track athlete who lives and trains in Bristol. 2017 has been one of the best years he's had doing this sport.

He has gained a silver medal in the 200 metres in Sheffield at the British indoor championships, a silver medal in the 200m at the under23 championships, a silver in the 200m England championships missing the gold by a thousandth of a second and won gold in the Manchester international in the 4x100m While representing England. He also was a member of the Great Britain under 23 4x100m relay team that took silver at the under 23 European championships in Poland. He has achieved this even though he has to work part time to earn money, he gets little to no funding or sponsorship. Imagine what he could achieve if he had that little bit more money to pay for things like physiotherapy, travel expense ( including hotels). May be a chance to attend one of the many races abroad were he could run against the very best. The southwest of England hasn't got many quality race meets that Chris needs now to progress, we are finding we have to take him further a field for these races, but this is becoming more expensive. Please help him to realise his dream of becoming one of the top sprinters in the country if not the world.
