I've raised £1000 to Christchurch C of E First School has set up a Food Bank for those who are in need.

As some of you are aware, Christ church C of E First school have set up a food bank for those that are in need. We have set this up off our own backs but in order for this to continue in the incoming weeks we are asking for families in the community to donate a small amount of money.
We have been so incredibly lucky in the past week or so that some of the food chains who have had to shut have been able to donate their food to us and also PTFA have been able to help also but we can't depend on this for a long period of time.
The reason why we set up a food bank was because in times in need we all need to help each other out. I set up a food bank to ensure every family at our school felt like they were still cared for, thought about but also so that everyone in the community knew we hadn't just shut our doors when Borris Johnson said schools were shutting. Christchurch has always put the best interests of the children at the heart of the school and with the children comes the parents.
Whether we are in a crisis or not, we are always a community and in times in need we always pull together. So, some of you maybe thinking right now I'm okay and I don't need the food bank but things might change in a couple of weeks.
Whether its £1 you donate or £5 every tiny thing helps not only yourselves but someone else who is in need.
