I have lost lots of family to diabetes complications. My Granny, my mother, my oldest brother and aunty. My family have diabetes, my aunty, my sister, me and now my husband has been diagnosed. Diabetes is not just about your sugar levels the side effects of diabetes can cause death. The medical aids dont cover diabetes complications if you were diagnosed prior to joining.

i am walking for two reasons. One is i have diabetes and two is i have non alcoholic fatty liver disease due to my sugar going out of control. I want to give back to Diabetes.uk for all the good work they have done
