I've raised £500 to To help fight muscle wasting conditions, Muscular Dystrophy is a horrible condition which effects mainly boys from birth. Muscle wasting.

My son Freddie has muscular dystrophy, at 11 years old he sometimes struggles with the simple things like walking, climbing stairs. He is often complaining of aches and pains around his body, but Fred been Fred he gets on with life the best he can. He would just like to be able to do the things other boys his age can do.
Fred loves to swim and is getting very good and trains with some of the special Olympic team in Hull.
For those of you who don't know Muscular Dystrophy is a muscle wasting condition, the body can't produce the dystrophin gene that repairs muscle damage so the muscle basically wastes away, taking away the ability to move limbs and in lots of cases the ability to breath as the chest muscles waste, the heart is also a muscle.
So as you can see this is something very close to Sarah and myself, we need to do as much as we can to raise money for research as there is no current cure for this horrendous condition, and we also need to give Fred the best we can.
