I've raised £100 to fund the ongoing great work at The Racehorse Welfare Centre, at Malvern , Worcestershire, UK .

I'm doing a short walk, with a group of people, to raise fund for The Racehorse Welfare Centre (TRWC), located near Malvern.
At the Centre, horses are able to live as a herd in as natural a lifestyle as possible, which always brings out the best in them. The public is able to learn more about the racing industry (and the equine world in general), through direct contact with our horses. Visits are encouraged by community groups in particular, so that vulnerable or disadvantaged people can experience the benefits of being around such sensitive and imposing creatures. People with significant health problems and terminal illness have very much enjoyed getting to know the horses and spend time at the Centre.
TRWC provides a home for vulnerable horses who have found themselves in need of a safe place to go and it obtained charity status in 2016. In particular, horses who are unsuitable for retraining in competitive disciplines (mainly due to injury or behaviour problems) are rehomed.
