Story

The Foot Project is heading back to France. Since the closure of The Jungle refugee camp October 2016, we have been working in refugee camps in Greece. The problems in northern France have not gone away this year (although it is no longer reported in the media) but instead the situation is worse. Families are living outdoors with little or no shelter. We have heard of police confiscating peoples shoes and tents and conditions for these people are horrific with freezing winter temperatures in Calais & Dunkirk. We plan to work with FAST, a team who are on the ground offering first aid and other medical services to refugees on a daily basis. The project will be mobile, travelling around to different areas where people gather and wait for any help they can receive.
