Help us to help our friend Yamoussa in The Gambia. In the early hours of tuesday morning on Aug 31st a large part of the back wall of his house fell down! He's not the only person affected by the combination of poor building and the rainy season. We have other friends and their families in this compound whose homes are now damaged. We would like to help them demolish the now very dangerous structure and rebuild it from scratch. We feel the children deserve a safer environment to grow up in and we don't have the resources to help them ourselves. Luckily one of the people who lives here is a builder, so money for building materials will enable a new 'linehouse' for everyone affected. We are musicians and have worked with Yamoussa aka Kossy for years. We've visited many many times, sat in what's now rubble, watched children grow and new babies born, played music, sung, danced and played 'pat a cake'. We want our friends, big and small, to have safe and waterproof housing.
