    Story

***UPDATE: Uncle Steven has asked me to put this to the top of the page; any funds raised will be going towards the Fundraising for Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospitals Intensive Care Unit who looked after Auntie Chris when she suffered a Brain Anuerism 4 and a half years ago. They saved her life and they want to give something back in her memory.*****

We as a family are raising funds for Chris Jordans final journey. The 24th of August 2017 Chris peacefully passed away in her sleep. She was a fantastic mum to Simon, who lots of people know. She devoted her entire life to looking after and caring for his every need as he suffers with severe cerablepalsy and is unable to communicate as well as do all the standard living tasks as hes confined to his wheelchair. She was an incredible and devoted wife to Steven. An amazing and beautiful sister to Carol & Neal (also Mark who passed away) And to so many people she was an incredible and inspirational friend who many felt they could confide in. Overall a truly remarkable woman. A few years ago, Auntie Chris had a brain anyeruism which almost killed her. She fought for months in Intensive Care in Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospital, for months following Rehabilitation. After this she wasnt the same person, she became withdrawn and in herself. Slowly but surely despite facing all the challenging and debilitating obsitcales that have come her way, she made it through with that gorgeous smile on her face. She even got back up on karaoke and to those who know her; know how much she loved a good sing along! Auntie Chris was the most kindest, caring and most loving person you would ever meet. She was absolutley incredible not only as a person but as a Sister, Mum, Wife, Auntie, Niece, Cousin, and friend to so many people. She has been taken from us all way to early and we really want to give her the best send off she truly possibly deserves. Financally, Her funeral is covered, however we are wanting to raise funds for QE who saved her life after her anuerism 4 & half years ago.

My uncle steven has asked me to post this with as much dignity as possible, and to hope people can help us give her a great stairway to heaven.

    ****PLEASE NOTE*****

Due to so many people who knew and loved my Auntie Chris, there will be so many tributes. Therefore; those who wish to send flowers, Uncle Ste has asked that only close family to send flowers. Therefore we would like to ask anyone who did wish to send flowers, to make a donation to this page. Any of the donations left over after the funeral costs have been covered will be going directly to the ITU ward at Birmingham Queen Elizabeth to ensure they can get more life saving equipment in memory of Aunty Chris to save as many more lives possible. This was Christines chosen place as they saved her life following the Brain Aneyurism.

We will update on here for Funeral Arrangments for Auntie Chris's final joruney when they emerge.

On behalf of Steven, Simon, Neal, Carol, and all close family, thank you so much.

Now our campaign has ended, I’d like to take a moment to say a massive thankyou to all those who have donated. Auntie chris had an amazing send off, and now it’s time for her to rest. We are holding a charity night in October her memory for her birthday, where again all proceeds will be going to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital so be sure to listen out for more information regarding this. On behalf of a Steven, Simon, Carol, Neal, and all her family and friends thankyou. Rest In Paradise beautiful lady, we love you always xxx
