The gorgeous big guy in the photo above is our 10-year old Troy, a rescue who came to us from German Shepherd RRR in September 2016. What a guy he is.... stole my heart in seconds and brought a whole new level of love into our home :)

German Shepherd RRR are a non-funded, non-registered community who rely solely on the generosity of the public to finance the amazing Rescue, Rehabilitation and Rehome work they do. My husband and I had followed the GSRRR Facebook page activity for a few years previous, but it wasn't until we visited and met Ray, Katy and the rest of the team that we really felt the scope and depth of everything they do. It's a deeply moving experience when you come across a group like this with a genuine love for the German Shepherd breed. It's not just about rescuing dogs, it runs much much deeper than that. These guys are saving lives through their actions, both canine and human, and it's impossible not to reach out and help wherever you can.
