Story

This year, more than ever, there will be people on their own and people in need of a good meal at Christmas. The Wiltshire council have cancelled their normal Christmas lunch for the needy and many other events have also gone.

So the Free Range Cafe in the old Town Hall of Trowbridge is putting on a lunch for those who need it. A local homeless charity will be in attendance and we are engaging with local churches and other groups; particularly the elderly. We hope to provide a traditional Christmas lunch for 80 or more people through the day.

If you donate £10 today that will be enough to feed one more person. So when you sit down for your Christmas meal you will know that your donation means someone else is getting a good meal in good company.

Now that we are over funding, we are looking at ways of continuing to feed the needy and homeless in Trowbridge and area. With whatever we have left over we will continue to provide hot food through January in partnership with local agencies.

Thank you for your support.
