Story
Christmas Day for the Homeless
Christmas is the time of year for family and friends but many homeless people have lost contact with loved ones and are alone. This Christmas we do not want any of our clients to feel isolated and unloved, so we are raising money to ensure they will have a Christmas they won't forget.
Edward Alsop Court is a homeless service for 79 homeless older men with complex needs such as alcohol dependency, mental health and physical health needs. We want them to have a Christmas to remember, with festivities that most of us take for granted. We are going to throw a Christmas party, buy presents, have turkey, pigs in blankets, mince pies and much more. A joyful day filled with laughter, warmth and care.
So Maria, Danielle and Kelly are taking on the Greenwich 10km on 9th December 2018 to raise as much money as possible. Please spare a little cash to make sure we have enough funds to support our guys through the Christmas period. Thank you.
