"Christmas for all or no Christmas at all!"

We are a community cafe in based at On The Corner in the Calton area of Glasgow. We collect donations of surplus goods to provide healthy meals on a pay-as-you-feel basis. We open our community living room every saturday providing a safe dry family-friendly space for all to tackle social isolation and encourage people from all sorts of backgrounds to hang out chat and have fun together.

Last year, we had a Christmas Day Party which was immensely successful despite being barely advertised. This year we want it to be bigger and better and reach out to everyone who would like to spend their Christmas Day at the heart of their community.

We are all volunteering to make Christmas special because we know what its like to be lonely, skint or just lacking that Christmas spirit!

What we will spend the cash donations on:

❅A huge Christmas meal for over 50 people

❅Transport for anyone struggling to get to the venue, to be truly inclusive we want to make sure anyone can get here regardless of mobility

❅Making our space really warm and toastie by cranking the heating up

We need Cash to make this happen but it is going to take a lot more than just money. You might have items on our wish list, you might have time to help make it happen or maybe just by sharing our appeal on your social networks and with friends or groups you can help bring our plan to life.
