On October 18th, I will be running the Great South Run through the streets of Portsmouth to raise funds for Dedicated to Dachshunds, a charity devoted to supporting dachshunds affected by IVDD. This cause is deeply personal to me, as in January 2026, my beloved dachshund was diagnosed with IVDD. Shortly after, another family member's dachshund faced the same diagnosis. Thankfully, both are making slow and steady progress toward recovery.
