I've raised £3500 to help Dunoon Grammar School pupils support communities in northern Tanzania by working on volunteer projects.

Eighteen of our pupils are challenging themselves to travel to rural Tanzania to help and support the local people in communities around Arusha. Our young people will be working with a well established volunteering organisation on projects in, childcare, teaching, sustainable agriculture, animal welfare, construction and renovation (More info at IVHQ Tanzania). This experience promises to be a lifechanging adventure! We will be providing worthwhile support and assistance to the local people while being fully immersed in another culture. With your help, Dunoon Grammar School can establish this as a long term sustainable trip teaching our young people about the positive aspects of volunteering by allowing them to kindness, support and compassion to strangers.
