Story

As a registered UK charity, Coco’s Foundation inspire people to support and help orphaned children communities within the poorest areas in South Africa.

Their aim is to deliver each child’s basic needs: food, water, shelter and professional emotional support. The Foundation works with international companies, UK schools, community groups and many individual volunteers to help change children’s lives.

In July/August 2020 I will be spending 2 weeks in KwaZulu Natal to get involved with community projects and building houses for child-headed families.

In this area there are approximately 9000 orphans living without the love and guidance of parents, many of them having lost their parents to AIDS and other related illnesses.

With many of these children having been victims of abuse and exploitation, they group together for safety often with up to 20 children living in one house.

This is where I need your help.

I am raising £2600 sponsorship so that I can help to build one of these much-needed houses and help the local community initiatives that provide for and nurture this child community.

Coco’s Foundation is funded entirely by donations. The Foundation do not take any administrative costs and every penny donated goes to Build4TheFuture, providing homes and shelter for child-headed families.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated and will help to build a brighter future for these children.

Thank you for your support!
