Story

Ladies and Gentlemen, can you give me a couple of minutes of your time.

I am taking part in a triathlon to help raise money for a charity called “Phoenix Heroes PTSD Veterans Support”. This is a non-profit Community Interest Company run completely by volunteers, with money going towards helping veterans and their families. They work alongside local organisations and other professionals with a passion for helping others, either by just being at the other end of a phone, a friendly conversation over a coffee or delivering an outdoor activity day to help keep the individuals mind busy.

There are several projects running concurrently now to help give homeless veterans the support they need as well as helping Ex Servicemen and women battling with mental health.

As an Ex-Pratrooper, this is something that sits quite close to home and is something I am immensely passionate about. Too many veterans are taking their own lives and I think we can all agree that just one is one too many.

In order to solve a problem, we must first acknowledge there is a problem to begin with.

Let’s get our men and women the help they need. A small donation will go along way.

Thank you.
