Bithalamic Glioma is an incredibly rare brain tumour. In 2016 tragedy struck my friend/fellow soldier and his young family when their 5 year old son passed away after he was diagnosed with this little known cancer.

You may imagine that cancer is being battled on all fronts but the reality is that some are far more curable than others. Rarer cancers do not receive the same amount of funding than more common strains which may seem obvious. I am hoping to raise a little bit of money for the research of Bithalamic Glioma because every penny helps. No more little children should be lost.

I will be riding my mountain bike around a difficult mountainous trail on the outskirts of Wrexham for 24 hours continously in aid of this cause. Please sponsor me to do this. My 24 hours of suffering will be a drop in the ocean when compared to that of my friend and his family, however, it will be very difficult all the same. Knowing that each pedal stroke is being paid for by generous well wishers, I will be able to push to the finish line.
