Story

I have entered the “Abbey Dash” a 10KM run on the 4 November, and hope to raise funds for a charity I am passionate and proud to be involved in.

I am part of an outreach team #homelessstreetangels which feeds and clothes the homeless and less fortunate people on the streets of Leeds.
Our aim is to help reverse the spiral of homelessness. Our dream is to open a day centre, to provide support, shelter, and practical help, to raise skills, and peoples self-confidence, called “Abi House” in memory of the founders’ sister who sadly passed away last year.
My role within the team is every Thursday I go out in to Leeds city, in all weathers, providing food, drink, a change of clothes, sleeping bags, tents and toiletries etc. I help collect donations that help us provide for these unfortunate people, as well as cook meals to take with us.

Please see our website,(www.homelessstreetangels.co.uk ) as not only do we take cash donations but need the constant replenishment of clothes, shoes and coats, as well as toiletries, food and drinks. We are also currently appealing for donations for our “Secret Santa” appeal for Christmas.

Please donate to my JustGiving Crowdfunding Page and help make it happen:
