What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
The World Scout Jamboree will be a time of cultural appreciation and learning as 133 countries conjugate together on one 14,000 acre Scout Reserve in West Virginia. We'll be swept off our feet with the food stalls, hosting shows that highlight British culture and of course meeting loads of new people from all over.
The price of my ticket isn't just for my own experience--the World Scout Jamboree encourages participants from low income countries by subsidising the costs and charging the UK Contingent, as a first world country, more. So I would really appreciate if you can help me in my fundraising of the Ā£3900 I require to go on this amazing, quite literally once-in-a-lifetime trip.
