This Easter Sunday (1st April) I will be travelling to Lourdes again with the Scottish Youth Group and HCPT. In order to do this, I am raising funds for our pilgrimage.

When SYG are in Lourdes we are auxiliary helpers to groups who take children who are ill or with disabilities, children with behavioural or learning difficulties, or children who perhaps would just benefit from a week away on holiday.

We aim to make the week the happiest and most enjoyable for all the children by taking part in fun activities such as going to the beach, visiting the Grotto, visiting the cafes for ice cream, attending mass together and enjoying fancy dress parties.

Every year, more than 1,000 disabled or disadvantaged children and young people travel to Lourdes with HCPT. I am raising money to help a helper, help a child and to get to Lourdes so that we, as a group, can help make the children's week an enjoyable one.
