**UPDATE**

Thank you all so much for your generosity, Cilla came home with me last night and had a warm house and bed prior to going into the Vets this morning to have her operation. Unfortunately the tumour was aggressive and had embedded itself into her skull and nasal cavity to such an extent that the vet was not able to exorcise it. It is with the heaviest of hearts that, at the advice of the Vet, I decided that she should not wake up from the anaesthetic. She was cuddled by the nurse at Purton Vets so she was not alone or unloved when she passed.

We will use the funds raised to settle the bill, and anything that is left we will pass onto another Cat related just giving page.

Thank you all so much for your generosity, I am totally heartbroken that we were too late to help this lovely lady.

Please can you help?

Cilla is a stray that has attached herself to our yard. She is an older lady and was clearly once loved by someone as she has been neutered and is hugely affectionate. We don't know if it was an elderly person that died, or of someone moved away and left her behind, but she arrived and we have fed her and cared for her since.

Over the past few months she has had a growth starting to grow between her eyes, it started slowly but over the past few weeks it has begun to grow at quite a pace, and as of today it has started to impair her eye sight.

She still has huge amounts of love to give and plenty of life to lead and we hate to see her struggling. We have contacted the PDSA and we are out of their catchment area, and neither BlueCross or Cats Protection are able to offer veterinary care. We hate to see her struggling and going without care when we know that we can improve her life.

If you can please spare some funds to help this lovely kitty we have had a quote from Purton Veterinary Group for c. £300 for the operation (though it may be higher) and then the cost of follow up care and antibiotics. Any money over and above this will kept in a fund at the vets for any ongoing care she may need as she gets older.
