With the cold weather now here and a long winter ahead, at Cirencester Signpost we are ensuring that we are doing all we reasonably can to help those sleeping outdoors in our community.

Meals are available at our Monday 'drop in' and Saturday Big Breakfast but we are extending what we provide to our homeless friends to include a meal of home-cooked food every Wednesday evening.

Giving dignity is essential in all we do. We offer shower facilities, toiletries, warm clean clothing, sleeping bags together with practical assistance such as registration with a GP.

We will be putting on a full Christmas meal with all the trimmings exclusively for those sleeping rough.

All of our services are provided by volunteers so we have no salaries to pay, meaning we can maximise the impact of monies raised on those that need it most.

When we are faced with such never ending need, may we never become numb to pain and suffering. Nor lose the wonder of how changing one person's life is enough because one person matters.
