    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Jessie and Gemma are running the Nottingham half marathon on Nov 4th to raise money for Hope Nateete and Gemma's US citizenship. Hope Nateete ( is a UK charity who support a school for children living in Nateete; one of the poorest districts in Uganda. As a result of the poverty within the area many of the children do not attend school and are trapped in the cycle of low qualifications leading to poorly paid manual labour. The school provides free basic education and a simple daily meal for children aged 3-8 years. As many of you are aware, last year we started the process acquiring U.S citizenship for Gemma so that as a family we would all be able to live in the same place. In total, our remaining costs are $6,000. Please would you consider partnering with us. All sponsorship raised will be split equally between the two causes.
