Story

Sleeping rough so they don't have to!

We’re inviting you to join us and up to 100 others at Coventry & North Warwickshire Cricket Club on Saturday 28th September, 7pm until 7am for a SleepOut in aid of homelessness. You’ll be joined by other like-minded people who want to make a difference in our great city by sleeping in the cold for one night.

By raising funds and working together, we can stop the sticky plaster mentality and get to the root issues with a plan to eradicate homelessness in the city by providing people with housing, rehabilitation, job opportunities and the support they need to get back on their feet.

We want to make Coventry an example for the whole world to follow. We’re a big city, with a proud heritage of humanity and resilience. We can do this. We just need you!

Our chosen charity:

Emmaus Coventry and Warwickshire

Emmaus provide a home and meaningful work to 18 formerly homeless adults in the Coventry and Warwickshire area. They supply accommodation, all meals, basic clothing and toiletries along with support within a secure environment. In return, the companions work within the community and social enterprises to the best of their abilities.

Event organisers:

Coventry Three Spires Round Table

City SleepOut is a organised and run by Coventry Three Spires Round Table. Three Spires have a proven track record for organising events within the city. Formerly the citys Fun Run organisers the organisation’s mandate is to help the people of Coventry and they regularly raise money and support various charities locally such as Georgies Wish, Mercia MS Therapy Centre, Tiny Timm’s and Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice.

Coventry Three Spires Round Table are proud to host the second City SleepOut in Coventry. Our aim is to grow the event year-on-year to make it bigger and better in order to raise as much money as possible towards tackling homelessness in the city. Last years’ event was amazing, there was a great deal of enthusiasm from people to take part and help raise money but we hope the 2019 event will be even bigger!

Please help our cause by sponsoring our event or a person that you know that is taking part.
