Story
I am running to try and raise as much money for the Civic Hall in Ormskirk so we can get that roof sorted sooner rather than later!
I started running 8 weeks ago after recently quitting smoking 20 cigarettes a day for the last 10 years. Since I have started running I am now running between 40 - 60 km a week!
In 9 weeks time I am running in the Manchester Half Marathon. There will be 15,000 runners there and I am hoping to finish within the top 10% of runners! For those of you don't know Half a Marathon is just over 13 miles so it's a little bit of a leg stretcher!
Anyway, I am going to be running with the Civic's logo on my running vest and am hoping that I can raise as much money in my journey to the finish line as possible!
