Story

For those of you that know me well you will know that this is a cause that is very close to my heart.

Prior to the birth of my children, I am ashamed to say that Neonatal Units were a bit of an enigma to me...little did I know how much I would come to rely on them. Nothing prepares you for life in the NICU - It is scary, loud, hot and full of complicated machinery and babies smaller than you ever thought you would see fighting for their lives BUT, despite this it is also a place of hope, love and immense support and has been like second home to me for many months over the past 5 years.

I will be forever indebted Stepping Hill Neonatal unit for the care they gave both of my little ones and also Nick and I across the years so now I am raising money for the unit to hopefully help give a little something back and help others going through their own journey.

In July Nick and I will be taking part in a sponsored event zipping down Europe's longest Zipwire "Titan" to raise money for Stepping Hill's Neonatal Unit. I don't like heights so this could be interesting! For anyone who wants to see what it's all about, here is a link to the experience - https://www.zipworld.co.uk/adventure/detail/titan
It is extremely weather dependant but we are aiming to complete this one weekend in July 2017. Anything you can donate in support of this cause would be very much appreciated xxx
