Story

CJS Environmental is launching a campaign to support The Red Box Project Portsmouth North in providing Portsmouth schools with free sanitary items for their students to use. 12% of girls in the UK have had to improvise due to a lack of money, using anything from tissue paper, socks and ripped t-shirts. Around half of girls have missed a day or more of school because of their period (Plan International UK). Young women should not be forced to miss education because they cannot afford the necessary products.

The Red Box Project place boxes full of different sanitary products; pads, tampons, new knickers, tights and wipes in schools to ensure that girls can easily access whatever they need during their periods.

Please help us to raise funds to place red boxes in more schools in Portsmouth and to refill the boxes that are already in some schools. CJS Environmental Ltd will match donations * up to an overall value of £500 raised across this campaign.
