Archie's Fundraising Walk

Thanks for visiting my page.

I am raising money for my Venture Force Nepal expedition in October 2018. I will be there for 14 days and during this time I will be helping in a school that was damaged by the major earthquake. We will be doing some building and construction work. As well as this we will get the chance to experience the culture of Nepal and also visit some wildlife and conservation areas.

I am very excited to have the chance to go on this expedition.

To raise money for the trip I am planning to walk the Pennine Way with some friends. We will take three separate weeks to complete it. One at Easter,one in May half term and one in summer holidays. It is 256 miles from Edale to Kirk Yetholm through some very challenging terrain. We aim to do 90 miles each week to get us there.

We have had some good practise walks and in half term we walked the Rutland round which clocked up 60 miles.

As well as raising money for my Venture Force trip I would also like to raise enough to donate some money to Children with Cancer UK. I have chose this charity as I have a good friend who has recently been receiving cancer treatment and they have told me this was a good charity.

I have been doing some other fundraising events so far. Including lolly sales, Nerf shooting gallery and Dad's favourite mowing the lawn every week.
