This is Our Beautiful daughter Ivy. Ivy was diagnosed with Epilepsy in Dec 2016 at 8 months old. We have since been told the devastating news that her seizures are being caused by a rare brain disorder and that our amazing little girl actually has severe brain damage to one side of her brain.

This unfortunately means that her seizures will increase and they cannot be controlled by Epilepsy drugs. The only thing that can help Ivy is to have Brain surgery that will remove the whole left side of her brain. The constant seizures that Ivy will have whilst waiting for this operation will unfortunately mean that she will struggle to develop and learn. The operation itself will paralyse her down one side of her body and we are unsure if she will be able to walk or talk afterwards.
The longer that Ivy has to wait for the surgery the more seizures she will have, each one could possibly cause her to have a stroke or be paralysed down one side. Or cause more damage to the healthy side or her brain. This means that ivy will gradually stop developing and learning.
We are raising money so that we can stay together as family through months of hospital visits all over the country. Also to get Ivy the quickest medical testing and care possible. After surgery the money will used on rehabilitation, the many months and years of physio, speech therapy and any other specialist care that ivy may need
