Story

The David Pennington charity was set up by Angela David's wife in his memory after he sadly passed away. David was a very special person and very close to my heart. He had a rare muscle condition called Arthrogryposis that meant he never walked but this did not stop him working or living a full & fun life. David and Angela held many charity events raising money for other people with this condition.
The David Pennington Charity aims to keep David's memory alive by raising money for good causes in the local community and Manchester area.
Over the last 3 years the charity has helped families with children who have life limiting conditions or life changing illnesses. The charity has helped to rebuild a local children's playground after it was badly vandalised.
They also help the Wood Street Mission in Manchester who help to provide for children that are in need by donating clothers, books and toys at Christmas as well as many other things.
This is a very special charity who do wonderful work for the local community and any donations are deeply appreciated.
