I am very proud to let you know that I have been selected onto the Great Britain Premier Dragonboat Team to represent my country The United Kingdom in the World Championships in China.
The team will be racing in the exciting city of Kunming, China, on 18th-22nd October 2017.
Dragonboat racing is an ancient, traditional sport that originated in China. I am very excited and proud to be part the National Team, to where it all began all those years ago.
Training with the GB team takes time dedication and lots of commitment. It also take me away from my family a lot. They are very supportive to me as I travel all over the United Kingdom to train with the GB team, this all comes at a cost with all the travelling to all the venues and accommodation.

Dragonboating is entirely self-funded. It does not come with sponsorship or funding. Any support you can give me in my travel and training is gratefully appreciated.
I’m not asking for anything, but even just a £1.00 will help me along the way to follow my dreams.
