Story
Autism ... a word we all dont want to here .
This young man is now 17 years old with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.
After stugerling for years being bulied through junior school Michael (not real name) was eventually given a diagnosis of ASD although upsetting at the time it did give us answers to peculiar behaviour.
We never dreamed Michael would be a great acheiver as he hated life as he was bullied all through junior school .No friends and very lonely.
After moving on to a great secondary school Michael has flurished acheiving three A* gcse four A . Now studying A levels and predicted very high pass grades.
Wishing to attend a university to study dietetics that is over 100 miles away from home . The cost is now £9,250 per year plus accomodation. This would be a four year course .This is his life passion . Anyone knowing someone with this condition would know how much it takes to get this far.
Michael has a ten hour a week cleaning job and lives at home.
