Story
Raising money for CRANSLEY HOSPICE in memory of Claire Massey who sadly lost her fight with cancer. Leaving behind husband Mick and son Mason who I know Claire would be so proud of both, as I am sure she is looking down with a smile.
The 2nd Charity is the VETERANS CHARITY which is close to all are hearts with the endless work DANNY carries out, helping veterans and serving personnel of our armed forces who have fell on hard times. we raise money for this charity most years by entering the FORCES MARCH and there biggest fan is our own WARRANT OFFICER DAVE DUNDAS. Who sadly passed away only a few weeks ago. So in memory of DAVE And his massive heart towards this charity and everyone he came in contact with I know he will be in our hearts as we tackle this massive event
We all wanted to do something that was really out of our comfort zone.
This event will test our fitness and mind set in every way, aswell as work commitments/family life and the RAF reserves we have to fit the training in to.
And trust me this is no walk in the park at this time of year. And will need us to train from now until the event.
The event itself we are entering is the SF FAN DANCE which is a 24 km march with 35 lb kit across the brecon beacons on the 12 th March This challenge on it's own is a massive challenge with out it being Jan with the weather playing a huge part. This is the SAS entry task so for us lorry driver/ground /technician and officer we are out of our comfort zone. But thought of CLAIRE and DAVE we are all determined to succeed.
Myself leigh Warren.........Mick Massey.......Iwan benneyworth.......john Phillips ....john lockham and bryan ford hope to raise as much possible and split between CHARITIES evenly.
From myself and all team THANK YOU
