Story
My name is Claire Fairweather, I am 36 and I live in Thirsk with my teenage son. I have been working for Oxfam for over two years now. In this time I have become aware of the excellent work that the organisation does. One area of this is the supply of clean water. Wells are drilled and tankers deployed to supply this lifesaving essential necessity, often under very dangerous circumstances.
I want to save lives by funding these projects with the money I raise from my skydive. I have never done anything like this before, I have only flown in a plane twice, but I am committed to this challenge, spurred on by the good cause.

I am raising money for Oxfam to help with it's safe water projects. Every day thousands of people are dying because of a lack of access to this basic human need. We will send tankers to warzones, drill wells in famine areas and give out free water in disaster stricken towns.
