Story

On Friday 29th I am going to tackle Snowdon in the dark to help raise money to buy a defibrillator for a local school where Ella 8 and Zac 4 attend. They have both had open heart surgery and both regularly attend Alder Hey where they will be treated for the rest of their lives! Below are pics of them both ♥♥

Being in the medical profession I know only too well how their condition can impact greatly on their day to day living and how debilitating it can be when it comes to 'normal' daily activities but as a parent I can only imagine how scary living with that 'what if' feeling everyday is so it's a very important but expensive (approx £1,000) machine to have in the event of an emergency situation!

I am going to go up the Llanberis path (easiest but longest at approx 4.5 miles + ascent approx 1000 meters) possibly a different route down once it's light and will be setting of at midnight on Friday 29th June so I'm at the summit to witness sun rise if the weather permits and it's not too cloudy!

I am hoping to raise £350 so would be EXTREMELY grateful for any sponsor/donations however small! If all my friends+family are kind enough to donate £1 each then I'm sure I can hit that target! Other events are also being organised so together we can do this for my friend Kathy and the other family....just a small reassurance that the right equipment is in place for their children if anything happens while they are in school which could potentially save their lives plus anyone else's who might unexpectedly suffer a heart attack!

So please please help me reach my goal and give me that extra bit of motivation+determination!

Thank you so much , Claire X
