Emilia competed in a National kickboxing competition and qualified to be part of the England Team that will be heading to Niagara Falls in November to compete in the World Karate & Kickboxing Championships. She qualified with a gold and bronze medal and is hoping to be able to go as part of the team. As you may know kickboxing is an amateur sport and therefore is not funded. This trip will be funded by me from fundraising and trying to gain sponsorship for Emilia. Also her club will assist with some funding as there are 9 of them altogether that qualified and are going to be competing, which we will be doing lots of events to raise money for the team fund. It would be an amazing opportunity, and will be a chance to develop and try bring home a world title after a disheartening loss of a bronze medal in last years competition in Dublin.
