We are a group of 10 ladies which can only be described as Nutcases !!! We support the work and activities of Tamworth Boxing Club ( TBC ). It is fair to say the none of us regularly walk 31 miles in a week let alone 1 day !!!!, Our spirited efforts match those of this great club and with your support and sponsorship we can achieve something spectacular. TBC is a charity that has an established track record of working with most vulnerable members of the community and has successfully delivered a high number of projects aimed at all sectors of a local community that has experienced significant economic decline over recent years. Our work is much wider than just boxing and we provide programmes and support to children with social, emotional and behavioural issues, children at risk of being excluded from school and those excluded from school. We also work with people with disabilities; provide women and girl’s only fitness sessions and healthy eating and cooking support to help develop life skills.

Next Year 2019 will be the Club’s 50th Anniversary and TBC have agreed a plan to progress a boxing and cultural trip Rio, in Partnership with Fight For Peace, for educational trips to the neighbouring favelas and to broaden the experiences of all of those who visit. It is fair to say that at Tamworth Boxing we fight for fun, the children we will be visiting fight for their lives on a daily basis.
