Story

Rocco and Cianna's coaches work for The Pars Foundation, over last few years they have been involved in volunteering in Haiti.

Kelly Armstrong and Nikki James are going out in January 2018 again to volunteer. Whilst they are out there they will be working in an Orphanage on La Gonove Island (Okipe Children’s Village). Currently the Orphanage looks after 70 children aged between 5 years and 16 years. They will also be helping at the Community Centre that is currently getting built at the back of the Orphanage. They have plans to have an astroturf pitch. This will cater not only for the children of the Orphanage but also other children on the island. Kelly and Nikki will be doing everything they can to help and give the children what they need. They need our help to raise as much money as we can to take out supplies and purchase what they need to make difference.

After being involved in a bucket collection to raise money for the Children of Haiti, Rocco & Cianna started to ask questions about the children of Haiti. When they realised how little the children had and how difficult a life they had they decided they wanted to help their coaches to raise more.

On Saturday 30th September Rocco & Cianna will be running the Great Scottish Family Run to hopefully raise awareness and gather more funds to make a difference to the children of Haiti.
