Story
We are raising money to give our son, Archie, the best chance to be able to walk independently through accessing therapies and making amendments to our home.
Archie was born at 33 weeks and 2 days. He was well when he was born but we later found out he has suffered a small bleed on his brain resulting in him having cerebral palsy. Archie’s type of cerebral palsy affects his legs and his balance means he currently uses a frame to walk and wear splints to support his feet and ankles.
Archie is a determined wee boy and takes everything in his stride. We are still learning about his condition and we want to be able to give him the best opportunities. Which means a lot of physical therapies and alterations to our home to give Archie the independence everybody deserves.
Archie is going to be taking part in his fundraising by doing a 5k walk around Arthur’s seat. He will complete this by doing a mixture of walking with his frame and using his buggy.
We would really appreciate your support to help Archie achieve his goals.
