As you all know, I am involved with AFOT (Animal Friends of Turkey) and on our last trip we visited Sue & Mike who are currently fostering about 8 unwanted dogs, all with horrific background stories of cruelty. Some had been shot, battered and even left for dead.
Our mission is to match these animals with loving families in the UK and bring them over for their "Happy ever after" . The cost of their travel is in excess of £1000, this includes vaccinations, neutering and the necessary paperwork and is an involved process, for which we totally rely on donations.
HUGO is a pointer, he was unbelievably malnourished and is totally blind.
He is also the most gorgeous, happy, playful and loving boy. He plays really well with all the other dogs and he loves his toys, he just has to be watched near the swimming pool or he gets a shock, but he has already learnt to feel for the grid around the pool and back off !!
He is a clever little boy who is full of life and love. He are aiming for him to travel in time for Christmas after being inoculated, castrated and hopefully fattened up a bit.
Neil and I fell in love with this gorgeous boy and can't stop thinking about him. All he wants is a cosy couch and a loving home.
