After being a keen runner for a few years i decided that i was going to challenge myself to do a half marathon which i will run in worksop on the 29th October. I decided to motivate me more I would raise some money for charity and spent some time thinking about where best to support, having given it some thought i decided on rotherham special care baby unit. My 3rd baby was admitted to the unit after having problems with breathing and feeding after his birth in 2015 and the care he recieved there was outstanding and having to leave my baby there was made easier by trusting the wonderful staff on the unit. I have emailed the hospitals fundraising team and they have told me that the unit are looking for funds to redecorate the parents bedroom which we used when Parker was on the unit. I hope that you will be able to give a small amount to help me reach my target for this wonderful cause as we never know when we will need them to help us through such a difficult time.
