Story

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my Crowdfunding page.

I am entering The Spitfire Run a 10k event at RAF Cosford on 2 September 2018 to mark 100 Years of the RAF and also raise money to support Harry Newman.

Harry is a loving 8-year old son of Tom and Mica Newman (my next door neighbours) who was diagnosed with an incureable genetic condition, Batten’s Disease in February 2014.

Batten's Disease is a rare, fatal, inherited disorder of the nervous system, that begins between the ages of 5 and 10. Harry has the late infantile strain of the disease. He cannot talk or swallow and he has seizures everyday.

To read more about Harry's story visit Facebook and search "Harry Newman's fight against Batten's Disease".

Mica and Tom are currently in the final stages of having a downstairs wetroom/bedroom built to have more space and convenience at home in looking after Harry. All the money I raise will go towards in decorating Harry's new room which will be in the colours of his favourite F1 Driver, Lewis Hamilton mercedes#petronas#AMG#44 🚘🏁.

I'm very grateful for anything you can spare to help. While Harry will always have BD, every penny can go towards a better life for him 😊
