I'm raising £500 to support Umbrella and The Invisible friends

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Many of you all ready know me but for them of you who don't my name is Claire and on the 5.08.25 I will be taking to the sky to jump out of a plane at 14.000ft. I have chosen to do this as for many years I have battled anxity and it has beat me now is my time to beat Anxiety and take back control of my life whilst I am doing this for me I decided what better way to raise some funds for 2 charitys that are close to my heart and mean alot to me and the girls. Let me tell you abit about them, The Invisible Friends (1172532) The Invisible friends are a local charty chior they have 1 in Chaddesden in derby and one in Rugby for young people age 8-25 they meet once a week to rehurse and go on tour twice a year summer and Christmas useing there voices to show that in every disability there is the Ability to shine. We became apart of the TIF family 6years ago my daughter who has Autism and adhd has a love for singing and praforming at a very young age she was struggling with her mental heath due to her autism I was scared I was going to loose her that was until we came across The Invisible Friends and my daughter had finally found her happy place and started to use her voice to exspress her emotions the reason I am raising money for a The Invisible Friends is I truly believe that they saved my daughters life and for this this charity will forever have a special place in my heart both my girls now attending the chior. My second charityis Umbrella (1150203) Umbrella are a Derby/Derbyshire based charity that supports children, young adults up to the age 30 who live with disabilities they don't just support the young person but also support the family as a whole they put on family events, prives short breaks so the carers can have abit of respite, youth groups and family support groups this is only a handful of what Umbrella offer please head over to there webpage to see alot more of what they offer. I got involved with Umbrella 7 years ago when I felt very alone bringing up 2 children with different disabilities as a single parent when I went to the umbrella support group that loneliness and isolation slowly got better and I no longer felt I was fighting these battles alone and it opened up so many opportunities for myself and the girls which I now volunteer in the family support team and fundraising group Umbrella changed my life forever and I will forever be greatful for what support they gave me and the girls. Please anything you can donate would be greatfully appreciated all donations will be split equally between these 2 Amazing charitys that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
